In a way it seems like it has, because our biology charges the hormones, and a series of pleasing reactions follow, which massively sway our unbiassed state towords favouring the beauty, all this being unconsiously, while we think we are being fair. It is trickery because we are fooling ourselves.
But then you need to define reality. Just because everyone else doesn't see the beuty in something, doesn't mean that its not there, for every individual stimuli, it may be , that there is only one individual instrument that knows how to perceive it for what it really is.Did beauty [in the eye of the beholder as it maybe] evolve as an instrument of trickery?
Not if you are able to see the inner beauty. The inner beauty is truth and possesses no trickery.Did beauty [in the eye of the beholder as it maybe] evolve as an instrument of trickery?
In the eye, all can be held as trickery. The mind and consciousness will decide for the dreamer what will be truth.
beauty evolved not in the eye of the beholder but in the object to lure others in thinbking itself beautiful for its evolutionary survival.
Only to the same kind and the greedy!
It meas some people like big bums and some don't.
