If beauty is in the eye of the beholder how come every miss america ive seen looked good?

are do we all behold the same idea of beauty? or do the judges think like i do. Venessa williams was fine, the girl from the barkers? i can't recall a ugly miss america that ive seen.If beauty is in the eye of the beholder how come every miss america ive seen looked good?
Thats still your opinion and not a fact.

I'm sure it's at least one person in the world doesn't find them attractive.

Although I think they are very prettyIf beauty is in the eye of the beholder how come every miss america ive seen looked good?
What an excellent question and thought. They have very strict weight standards for the Miss America pageant and it truly is not fair. I think it should be open to anyone who chooses to compete. I do believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but in a contest such as the Miss America pa gent (which a fake contest to start with, many of the girls have implants and have had a lot of plastic surgery), there is no place for a ';regular'; beautiful girl from next door. Sad, but true.

Peace, Love %26amp; Happiness
Because society sets typical 'beauty' standards that our culture likes. If you went saw a beauty competition in say, Afghanistan you probably wouldn't think they are all cute, but a man from Afghanistan would and he would also not think our women were attractive.
mm its the media.
