Even if they aren't your type, you can't deny they are attractive.
IMO this saying only goes for average looking people, because some people have higher standards or ';types';.
Agree or Disagree?Does the saying ';Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder'; only apply to average looking people?
I always thought it was ... ';Beauty is in the eye of the Beerholder';?Does the saying ';Beauty in the Eye of the Beholder'; only apply to average looking people?
It applies more to average looking I guess but, it does apply to all.
Usually saying someone isn't your type is just another way of saying they're ugly, or at the very least not handsome/beautiful in your opinion.... It's just a nice way of saying it.
While this applies more to average looking ppl it applies to all. You can get the majority of ppl to agree on what's ugly or gorgous but, not all of them. For instance I never understood why ppl that Brad Pitt %26amp; Jennifer Aniston were hott, yet many ppl think they are. Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, %26amp; Shirley Manson on the other hand....*drools*, and some on these very boards find Megan Fox (who I think is gorgeouss) ugly, and some find MARLYN Manson hott *gags* (big nose, no eyebrows, uneven features....wtf...).
i agree for the most part.
there is universal beauty, where someone is so pretty that no one can deny their attractiveness. and then there are the quirky beauties (eg reese witherspoon) who are not classic beauties but people like them because they have a certain charm.
and then there are the ones that have to grow on you, in which case the term 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' applies. however you dont have to be a plain jane or ugly to have that quote apply to you. the person above me says that people find megan fox either gorgeous or not, but then again she isnt a classic beauty.
I agree with you
