What classifies beauty or is beauty in the eye of the beholder?

Something is beautiful if you choose to ignore its flaws. For example, let's say I show you a photo of a person's face. The person's face has no flaws. You might say the person is beautiful because the person is flawless. Then I zoom out and show you the person's arms are horribly disfigured. Now that you can see the flaws, the person is suddenly no longer visible. Different people can overlook or not even notice different flaws. If you don't see the flaws, you see beauty. I think the movie Shallow Hal is actually close to reality. What classifies beauty or is beauty in the eye of the beholder?
There have been some scientific experiemnts about ';beauty'; where they determined that the more semtrical a person's face, the more attractive they were deemed. Beyond that, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder though. Beauty does not have to be phyical attractivness either. A person can be beautiful for the things they do.What classifies beauty or is beauty in the eye of the beholder?
some dude did a test like a hundred years ago and found that the perfect face is the exact average face with no really outstanding features, but with many other things eg cars i believe that it is in the eye of the beholder
Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, but beauty is only skin deep. Ugly goes all the way to the bone!
Completely
I think any classifications are personal. So I guess it is in the eye of the beholder.
it's in the eye of the beholder. everyone has their own interpretation and opinion of beauty.
I definitely believe it's in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has different opinions about what true beauty is.
By my Definition, beauty is proportionate. If you look you at yourself in the mirror and your eyes grow 40 percent then your attractive. or regardless of the mirror, if your eyes grow 40 percent then the person or thing is beautiful or attractive
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder because if everyone saw the same thing in one person, then everyone would have the same opinion about them.
beauty always lies in the eyes of the beholder....for example a girl may look gr8 for one guy but for someone else she might look dumb...so hpe u got ur answr
