If PHYSICAL beauty is in the eye of the beholder, would you say that some people find Quasimodo attractive?

I don't believe in that crap ';Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.'; Studies have shown that across races, cultures, continents, etc. there is a standard of beauty that human beings are drawn towards. Don't let people tell you that there might be a girl who will find the Hunchback of Notre Dame physically attractive. No way in hell that will ever happen. If PHYSICAL beauty is in the eye of the beholder, would you say that some people find Quasimodo attractive?
There have ben alot of studies on attraction %26amp; its little to say that its only in te ';eyes of te beholder'; but then if u summarise it all.. thats wat u get.

There are factors of attraction.

1-physical beauty

This is intution talkin %26amp; varies with ur/media/social image of beauty. Intution picks those that look better b/c they are better in health %26amp; wd therefore have higher chances of procreating. Its survival of the fittest %26amp; species need to grow %26amp; reproduce.

2-Envoirnmental factors

U might not like someone at te soap opera where ur friend dragged u but the same gal won ';belle of the ball'; on prom nite.

Or she didnt look good dancin but u've never seen someone as magnificent on horse-back!

Moods regulate attraction. Hormones may be bossing them around.

3- Social

Peer pressure %26amp; nowadays media forces ppl towards sexual freedom or they are termed as ';losers';.

4-Others.

We're attracted to those who smell close to our parents. %26amp; the emotional needs also attract the kind of ppl coming in..

as te wise ones said '; a man is known by the company he keeps';If PHYSICAL beauty is in the eye of the beholder, would you say that some people find Quasimodo attractive?
it must be true ive seen some people that u would want to vomit after seeing them and they have a partner many of them are married and have kids. so it is in the eye of the beholder
Sure. I think some people look past the physical, and look at what's on the inside. But, if your still not convinced, just remember, there is someone out there for everyone. Sometimes, more than one, if you're lucky!
well kinda i mean theres some really wierd couples sometimes out there you know. also i think if a girl quasimodo existed she would like the guy quasy lol.
I used to not believe the ' beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder' crap!!

how can anyone appreciate or fall for someone who is ugly, has a hump or walks with a crutch?

but my own beliefs came crashing down when i ran into this gorgeous hunk (or atleast I thought so), seated in a wheelchair in the store one day. Paralysed waist down, he had nothing attractive about him. But his level of confidence and intelligence was magnetic and so irresistible that when I got into a small talk with him, I felt like taking him home straight to mommy!!

I made extra trips to the store that week to buy useless stuff mostly, in the hope to bump into him, and was heartbroken when I saw him accompanied with this gorgeous woman who turned out to be his wife! Such is life!! *sigh!*

I have not regrets or shame to eat up my words and confess that beauty is definitely in the eyes of the beholder.
Physical beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but sometimes someone like Quasimodo, who is uglier than sin, may not appear to be beautiful on the outside, but to someone who gets to know him and fall in love with him will find him to be the most handsome man in the world.
If he weren't a work of fiction, you might be surprised. If you ever bothered to read the story, you would have known that there was a girl that fell in love with him. But you keep your shallow egotistical views
