What does it mean. Like I just said a certain person is beautiful and someone reasponded with beauty is in the eye of the beholder what do they mean?What does BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER mean?
Each person sees things differently. Someone you find beautiful, another person may not.What does BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER mean?
I had this happen. If someone said this to you, that usually means they are calling you ugly. I'm not ugly but that person was jealous.
It means that you think someone is pretty and that other person thinks she is butt ugly so it pretty much means a person can date someone and think he/she is beautiful and no one else can see it...so the beauty is in the eye of that particular beholder.


So whoever was the person that said beauty is in the eye of the beholder disagrees with you on whoever you said was pretty.
It means what you think is beauty, may not be beautiful to someone else, to each , his own.
I consider Jennifer Aniston to be beautiful but you may not. In my eyes she is beautiful. I am the beholder who finds who beautiful. Hope that helps.
