It means the person looking at something is the person who decides what is beautiful to them.





We all have different ideas on what beauty is. Often this phrase is used to make people who are obsessed with their own attractiveness give thought to deeper issues.

What you think is attractive (mocha-colored skin, black hair, brown eyes, etc.) may not necessarily be appealing to someone who finds (fair skin, blond hair, blue eyes, etc.) beautiful.
Means I can think someone is beautiful, but you may not. So to me the beholder it is beautiful.
It means that not everyone's idea of beauty is the same. Kinda like ';one man's trash is another man's treasure.';
';Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'; means that one's physical appearance is not only the basis of others to judge if he / she is goodlooking / pretty. It really depends on the opinion of others. For example, there is a lady who is really pretty and yet others didnt't find her beautiful since she displays bad attitude towards others, that' s why others can no longer appreciate her beauty bec. their judgment / perception to that lady changed , they based it from the lady's personality. However, for example there is a lady who is too simple but because she's beautiful inside since she is really accommodating to all, then her aura for others will be positive. So it really depends on how others see us.

its like talking about love. But its hard to explain that way. so I can teach you this way. when you buy it , its priceless. when you sell it its worthless. just like a car. If its your daughter. she is priceless. if its your wife she is priceless. understand?
