Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That is why we are individuals. Just as with any preference we may have, it is for a reason. Just as some people like certain works of art and others don't, people have preferences as to what characteristics they find attractive in others.Is beauty in the eye of the beholder?
I think so. Some people randomly fall in love for some reason and think the person is beautiful and are blind to all their personality and physical flaws but then when they fall out of love its like a switch is turned off and they no longer see the person through rose tinted glasses.
